2025-04-18_necessary movement
it’s so much. too much for m(y) small body. i have to stop reading for a moment. i start writing this to express. to get out of the spiral as much as i can. i know i can’t stop. i will go back. i will keep going. i have to. this is a statement of ethics, but also of biology. movement is how m(y) and every body works. it cannot live without it. it cant exist without it. but movement is not a general process. not just any movement is necessary for m(y) body’s becoming. so what is a specific type of movement that m(y) body needs? solidarity. moving towards becoming better able to be in solidarity with those who, like m(e) and differently from me, require solidarity to live. to flourish. what is another specific movement m(y) body needs to feel in this context? education. i need to know. i need to read. i need to listen. i need to feel. i need to know, in order to act. i need to act, in order to live. and so i will go back. i will go forward with m(y) political education. because it is what m(y) body needs. because it is what the communal body i am a fragment of needs. i am a nail, consistently moving in richtung outside, weathered by the struggle of coming into contact with harsh conditions. i’ll chip and even break. but i’ll come back. and in returning, change the way it feels to live and touch in this body, in our body. because that’s what nails do. we grow, we chip, we scratch, we shine, we unsettle, we grip, we break, we regrow.
